<\/br>The Spanish Wind Energy Association (AEE)<\/font><\/a> is holding a new workshop in Madrid on September 30. On this occasion, the main topic of the workshop will be the operational analysis of wind farms, with special emphasis on aspects used to check their operability. <\/p>\n

HINE has been invited to take part in this AEE conference to present the DOCC-OFF project (Digitalization of Critical Components in Offshore wind turbines)<\/font><\/a>. A project with the objective of improving the design of the hydraulic pitch system of a wind turbine in order to make it more reliable and reduce the impact of the wind turbine design on load cases. In this project HINE collaborates with other companies such as the digital start-up Xabet<\/font><\/a> or Sirris<\/font><\/a>, a Belgian technology center with extensive experience in the wind energy sector for validation tests, as well as with the management and coordination of the Basque Energy Cluster<\/font><\/a>. <\/p>\n

DOCC-OFF is not only a clear example of the importance of the application of digital technologies in the sector but also a big number of overcame challenges such as validating the utility of sensors, remote monitoring systems and Big Data analysis tools to collect information from the pitch system. <\/p>\n

The presentation of the DOCC-OFF project on September 30 will be given by Iker Elorza, a researcher at Ikerlan<\/font><\/a>, a technology center specialized in industrial digitalization and technology transfer who has collaborated with HINE in this ambitious project. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
