新闻和大事
After a year 2020 in which the activity of exhibitions, conferences and congresses was paralysed as a result of the pandemic, HINE has recently resumed its participation in this type of events. Thus, from 24 to 26 August, HINE took part in IPF (The International Partnering Forum) in Richmond, Virginia (USA), an exhibition focused on the offshore market in which leading companies and personalities from the wind energy sector took part.
This exhibition, one of the most important in the USA and in the entire world in terms of offshore wind, was undoubtedly a great opportunity for HINE. HINE was given the opportunity to present itself to the world leaders in the offshore sector within the scope of the ELBE (European Leaders of Blue Energy) Alliance project, with whom we participated in a joint stand at the exhibition.
As part of the parallel activities to the fair, HINE held a conference to the attendees. The conference was held by Iñigo González (COO of HINE USA), who stressed the importance of HINE’s positioning in the US market in this offshore race. A race that has great support from the institutions, as stated by the Secretary of State for Energy, Jennifer Granholm, who spoke at IPF via videoconference. “Offshore is a market with a great long-term projection in the US, as it is aligned with the objective of fighting climate change and achieving zero carbon emissions by 2050, as established by the Biden Administration. Right now, it is a sector full of excitement and opportunities in which HINE is well positioned,” remarked Iñigo González.
This is undoubtedly encouraging news for the offshore sector in the USA. But there is still a lot work to do, and that is why IPF is already looking forward to the 2022 edition, which this time will take place in April in Atlantic City and where, of course, HINE will be present.
